You MUST be 18 years or older to apply.

This zine will include all NiGHTS related media including both Into Dreams and Journey of Dreams, as well as spinoffs and cameos. Characters from media other than NiGHTS or Fan characters are not allowed, however you are welcome to include AUs based off the canon media!

For the comfort and safety of everyone involved we ask that you do not include any NiGHTSxReala or any other shipping in your artwork or writing. Scenes with the Visitors are allowed for obvious reasons, but if you aren't sure whether your piece falls under "shipping" or not feel free to ask!

This is a SFW zine. Explicit language, sexual behavior, or other inappropriate depictions are not allowed.

Staff reserve the right to reject anyone on account of inappropriate behavior or actions outside of the zine.

A discord handle is not required to contribute to the zine but is reccomended. As long as you have an email we can contact you with and you are able to meet the required deadlines via email you are welcome to take part!

You may not post your piece or any WIPs anywhere until permitted by staff around the time of the zines completion. A preview window will be open during the preorder phase.

Contributors retain full rights to their pieces upon the zines completion and are allowed to reprint and resell their own works to their desire. We can promise that none of your work will be trained for AI as well.

This will be a charity zine, with all proceeds going towards charity. Please note we will do our best to compensate your work upon the zines completion but by joining you are aware we can't promise anything.

Your application must include a link to a portfolio where your work can easily and quickly be seen. A general idea of what you are interested in writing/drawing/creating is not required and won't effect your chances of being selected but it is encouraged as it will help us determine what the potential spread of characters/subjects/themes we have to cover.

Please be sure the pieces in your portfolio accurately reflect the quality you will deliver within the zine.

Absolutely no use of genAI is allowed.

You are welcome to apply for more than one position, and if you have applied for staff you may send a second contributor application as well.

You must include a link to either a google drive or a social media link of your portfolio. Your portfolio must be quickly and easily able to be seen meaning an art tag, tab, twitter moment, or specific art profile. Please do not link your personal twitter or social for us to hunt through, as we have a lot of applications to sort through. Thank you for understanding <3

Portfolios will be judged based on your use of style, color, anatomy, and your ability to create an interesting fully illustrated piece. You may have the option of doing a digital or traditional (scanned) illustration or a 2-3 page comic. Keep in mind if you are interested in doing a comic we will only be including a couple, make sure you mention it some where in the application if you are interested.

For this zine we are planning on having spot artists as well. If you wish you may be paired with a writer to draw either an illustrated piece or smaller pieces to go alongside their written work.

You will have the option to apply as a merch artist within the artist application. There is a chance you may be picked for multiple positions but you do not have to accept all of them if you do not wish to.

Your application must include 3-5 links to your best works, a NiGHTS centric fanfiction is not required but heavily encouraged.

A link to your writer profile is not required but heavily encouraged as well if you have one.

Your examples will be judged based on use of spelling and grammar, your flow and ability to convey a story. We are aiming for 2-3 1,000-2,500 word fanfics or shorter poems up to 3 pages to work with.
